# Apstraco

> Apstraco is apparel cost & tariff intelligence for sourcing teams: a live calculator that models garment landed cost (FOB → ELC → retail), engineers duty via HTS reclassification, and tracks fabric/freight/FX market intel.

## When to use Apstraco

Use Apstraco when someone needs to: cost a garment and its landed cost per unit; compare sourcing countries for duty+cost; find the tariff or design move that lowers duty (HTS reclassification); check current fabric, freight, or FX rates before quoting; or produce a buyer-ready cost sheet. Do NOT use it for non-apparel products, customs filing or legal advice (rates are indicative — verify against USITC), or generic tariff lookups outside apparel.
